Belgien Unbegrenzte eSIM

When you finish your daily high-speed data, the plan keeps running at unlimited 2G speeds until the reset. At that speed, text messages, email, and basic web pages generally still work, while maps, video, and large downloads slow to a crawl. The next 24-hour reset brings your full-speed data back. Travelers who rely on live transit apps, translation tools, and photo uploads should consider 3GB or 10GB per day, since Belgium’s compact size makes it easy to cover several cities in a single day. If you are on a lighter tier, switching to hotel or cafe Wi-Fi for heavy tasks like downloading shows or updating apps is a simple habit that stretches your daily allowance.

The calendar is flexible: pick 1, 3, 5, 7, 10, 15, 20, or 30 days to fit your itinerary. A day trip to Brussels for a meeting might need just 1 day, while a long weekend taking in Bruges, Ghent, and Antwerp fits the 3- or 5-day option. People attending a week-long conference, visiting family, or studying in Leuven can use 7, 15, or 30 days. eSIMnow lets you pair any duration with your preferred daily data tier, so you control both variables. Because this plan does not support top-ups, it is wise to choose a duration with a bit of extra time in case your return plans shift.

No, top-ups are not offered on this plan, so it works best when you plan. You select a daily high-speed amount and several days, and everything is set from the start. Because your allowance resets every 24 hours and the connection continues at 2G speeds after you pass your limit, you can still stay in touch if you use your fast data early in the day. Should you prefer a plan you can add data to, browse the other eSIMnow plan types to see whether one with top-up support suits your trip better. For this one, a good approach is to choose a daily tier that covers your busiest days, then let lighter days leave you with spare data.

This eSIM covers data only, so you will not receive a Belgian phone number, voice minutes, or text messaging. Calls and chats still work through internet-based apps such as WhatsApp, FaceTime, Messenger, or Signal, and Belgium’s widespread Wi-Fi in cafes and hotels can give you a backup when you want to save mobile data. If you are expecting calls or verification texts on your usual number, keep your regular SIM in the phone as a second line, and leave its data roaming off. That way, the eSIM handles your internet while your home number stays available for the occasional important message, subject to whatever charges your own carrier applies for receiving them abroad.

The Belgium eSIM connects to Proximus 5G, Orange 5G, and Base 5G, giving your phone three supported networks to choose from. Proximus is the country’s long-established national carrier, while Orange and Base are also widely used, and your phone picks among them automatically. Coverage is generally strong in Brussels, Antwerp, Ghent, Bruges, and Liège, as well as along the main rail lines between them. Rural parts of the Ardennes, forest trails, and some older buildings with thick walls can see weaker reception. Network performance can also vary depending on your phone model and how busy the area is. If a connection ever feels stuck, a quick phone restart usually helps it find the best option.

No hidden roaming fees come with this plan. eSIMnow plans are prepaid, so you choose your daily tier and number of days at checkout and use them across Belgium’s supported networks without extra roaming charges from us. Be careful with your regular SIM, because it may keep roaming in the background and charge you at international rates if its data is left on. Before you land, switch off data roaming on that line and make the eSIM your mobile data connection. It takes less than a minute, and it lets you use maps, train apps, and messaging freely while you explore Brussels, Bruges, or Antwerp, rather than counting every megabyte and worrying about a large bill after you return.

Yes, tethering and hotspotting work on this plan. Share your connection with a laptop, tablet, or a travel partner’s phone, as long as your device supports it. Everything connected through your hotspot uses the same daily high-speed data as your phone, so busy laptops can drain it quickly. After you reach your daily limit, shared devices slow to 2G speeds along with your handset. Remote workers and group travelers often find that 3GB or 10GB per day makes tethering far more comfortable than 500MB. To keep your data going for longer, try closing unused tabs, pausing cloud backups, and turning hotspot off whenever you finish a task, because even idle connected devices can quietly pull updates in the background.

Your Belgium eSIM can be bought up to 180 days before you travel, and nothing starts ticking until it connects to a supported Belgian network. That means you can book your plan the same day you reserve flights or Eurostar seats, then forget about it until departure. eSIMnow emails your QR code shortly after checkout, so the file is waiting in your inbox whenever you are ready to scan it. Because Belgium is a common stopover on European itineraries, many people buy early, install the profile during a quiet evening, and keep it switched off until they cross the border. Once you arrive, enabling the line is usually all it takes to get online.
