eSIMnow’s Ireland Unlimited eSIM combines a daily high-speed data allowance with continued connectivity after that allowance is used. You can choose from daily high-speed options of 500MB, 1GB, 2GB, 3GB, or 10GB, depending on how much fast data you expect to need. The selected allowance resets every 24 hours, giving you a fresh high-speed allocation for the next daily period. Once you reach your limit, the plan continues with unlimited data at reduced 2G speeds until the reset. This setup can suit travelers who need regular access to maps, messaging, and online information throughout their stay. Choose a daily tier that reflects your typical usage.
When you use all the high-speed data included in your Ireland Unlimited eSIM’s daily allowance, your connection switches to unlimited 2G speeds for the rest of those 24 hours. You can continue using mobile data, but activities that need faster connections, such as video streaming, large downloads, and video calls, may become slower or less convenient. Your high-speed allowance resets every 24 hours, after which the selected daily amount becomes available again. If you regularly use data-intensive apps, consider choosing a higher daily tier before purchasing. The available options include 500MB, 1GB, 2GB, 3GB, and 10GB of high-speed data per day.
You can select an Ireland Unlimited eSIM duration that matches your itinerary, with options of 1, 3, 5, 7, 10, 15, 20, or 30 days. This range accommodates everything from a brief stopover to a month-long visit. You also choose the daily high-speed data allowance separately, with options ranging from 500MB to 10GB per day. Consider both the length of your trip and how often you expect to use mobile data when selecting your package. For example, navigation and messaging may require less high-speed data than frequent video calls or streaming. Check your chosen duration and daily allowance carefully before completing your eSIMnow purchase.
No. eSIMnow lists top-ups as unavailable for the Ireland Unlimited eSIM. Instead, you choose the daily high-speed allowance and plan duration when purchasing. The available daily tiers are 500MB, 1GB, 2GB, 3GB, and 10GB, while validity options range from 1 to 30 days. Your selected high-speed allowance renews every 24 hours, and after it is used, unlimited data continues at reduced 2G speeds until the next reset. Because you cannot add a top-up to this plan, think about your typical daily usage before deciding which tier to buy. If your needs change, review the available plans on eSIMnow before your next trip.
The Ireland Unlimited eSIM is a data-only plan, so it doesn't come with a traditional mobile number for standard cellular calls or SMS messages. You can still communicate through internet-based services using the eSIM’s data connection. Apps such as WhatsApp and other voice-over-internet-protocol services can be useful for messaging and calls, provided the relevant service works on your device and in your location. Remember that app-based communication uses mobile data, including any high-speed allowance you have selected. Once that daily allowance is consumed, reduced 2G speeds may affect call quality or message delivery. If you need conventional calls or texts, check your existing mobile plan’s options separately.
The eSIMnow Ireland Unlimited eSIM connects to Three Ireland and Vodafone Ireland, with 5G as part of the product specifications. These networks give the plan access to local mobile infrastructure within Ireland’s coverage areas. However, listing a network does not guarantee that every location will receive a strong signal or 5G service. Your actual connection depends on local coverage, network conditions, your device’s capabilities, and whether the phone supports the relevant network bands. Indoor locations, rural areas, and crowded venues can also affect performance. Before purchasing, review the product’s current network details and confirm that your phone supports eSIM technology and is carrier-unlocked.
The Ireland Unlimited eSIM is a prepaid travel data plan with no hidden roaming fees for use within its supported coverage. You select and pay for the plan in advance, then use its data allowance in Ireland rather than relying on your home carrier’s international data roaming. To avoid unexpected charges from your regular mobile service, check which SIM is selected for mobile data in your phone’s settings. You may also want to disable data roaming on your primary SIM while using the travel eSIM. Your existing carrier could still charge for calls, texts, or other services used through that line, depending on your contract.
Yes. The eSIMnow Ireland Unlimited eSIM supports tethering and hotspotting, enabling you to share your phone’s mobile data connection with compatible devices such as a laptop or tablet. This can be useful when you need internet access for work, navigation on another device, or travel arrangements. Hotspot use draws on the eSIM’s data service, so connected devices can consume the daily high-speed allowance quickly, particularly when downloading files, updating software, or streaming video. After the selected high-speed amount is used, the plan continues at unlimited 2G speeds until the next 24-hour reset. Check your phone’s hotspot settings and secure the connection with a password before sharing it.
The Ireland Unlimited eSIM has a 180-day pre-activation window. This allows you to purchase and prepare the plan well before your departure instead of waiting until you reach Ireland. Before traveling, check that your phone supports eSIM and follow the installation instructions supplied with your order. Installing an eSIM and starting its service are not necessarily the same step, so follow the product’s guidance on when to activate it. The plan is intended to start upon arrival when it connects to a supported local network. Keep your order details and installation instructions accessible so you can complete setup when needed.
