eSIMnow’s France Unlimited eSIM gives you a selected amount of high-speed data for every 24 hours, followed by continued data access at reduced speeds. Available daily high-speed options include 500MB, 1GB, 2GB, 3GB, 5GB, and 10GB. Once you use the selected allowance, the connection switches to unlimited 2G speeds for the remainder of that daily period. The high-speed allowance then resets every 24 hours. This structure can help you plan mobile data use during a French holiday or business trip, although the right tier depends on your habits. Frequent video calls, streaming, and downloads generally require more high-speed data than messaging or checking maps.
After you use the selected daily high-speed allowance on eSIMnow’s France Unlimited eSIM, the plan continues with unlimited data at 2G speeds until the next 24-hour reset. This means you may still be able to perform basic online tasks, but performance can be considerably slower than during the high-speed portion of your plan. Image-heavy websites, video streaming, large downloads, and video calls may take longer to load or may not work smoothly. Your selected high-speed allowance becomes available again after the daily reset. If you anticipate heavier usage, consider a larger daily tier before purchase. The listed options range from 500MB to 10GB of high-speed data per day.
The France Unlimited eSIM offers durations of 1, 3, 5, 7, 10, 15, 20, or 30 days. You can match the plan length to a short visit, a longer holiday, or an extended stay in France. The daily high-speed data allowance is a separate choice, with options of 500MB, 1GB, 2GB, 3GB, 5GB, or 10GB per day. When deciding, consider the entire period you need mobile data and the kind of activities you expect to do online. If your trip includes remote work or frequent video streaming, your daily allowance may matter as much as the number of days. Confirm both selections before checkout.
No. eSIMnow’s France Unlimited eSIM is listed as not supporting top-ups. You need to choose the daily high-speed allowance and duration that best fit your trip when placing the order. The available daily allowances are 500MB, 1GB, 2GB, 3GB, 5GB, and 10GB, with plan durations ranging from 1 to 30 days. Remember that using the daily high-speed allocation does not end your data access: the plan continues at reduced 2G speeds until the allowance resets every 24 hours. If you expect heavy usage, consider selecting a larger daily tier in advance. Review the current product details before purchasing to confirm the available options.
The France Unlimited eSIM is a data-only service. It does not include conventional cellular voice minutes or SMS messaging through a French mobile number. However, you can use its internet connection for supported messaging and calling applications, including services that use voice over internet protocol (VoIP). These apps can help you keep in touch with family, friends, or colleagues while visiting France. App calls and messages use your data connection, so heavy use can consume the daily high-speed allowance. After that allowance is reached, reduced 2G speeds may affect call quality. If you need standard phone calls or text messages, check the services provided by your regular SIM separately.
The eSIMnow France Unlimited product specifications list SFR 5G and Free Mobile 5G as supported networks. These are the networks identified for this particular plan, rather than a guarantee that both will be available at every destination. Your phone connects according to network availability and the service’s technical configuration. Actual performance can vary with local coverage, congestion, indoor conditions, and your device’s 5G capabilities. A 5G listing does not mean you will always receive a 5G signal throughout France. Before purchasing, check that your phone supports eSIM and is carrier-unlocked, then review the latest network details on the France product page.
eSIMnow promotes the France Unlimited eSIM as a prepaid data plan with no hidden roaming fees within its supported coverage. You choose a plan and pay upfront, which helps you avoid relying on your primary carrier’s international data roaming while in France. To reduce the chance of charges from your regular mobile service, set the France eSIM as the line used for mobile data and review the roaming settings on your primary SIM. Charges from your existing carrier may still apply if you use that line for calls, texts, or other services under its terms. Check those terms before traveling so you understand what your regular plan covers.
Yes. Tethering and hotspotting are supported by the eSIMnow France Unlimited eSIM. You can share your phone’s connection with another compatible device, such as a laptop or tablet, which can be helpful when working remotely or managing travel plans. Data consumed by connected devices uses the same eSIM service, so activities such as video streaming, cloud backups, and software updates can use the daily high-speed allowance quickly. Once that allowance is exhausted, the plan continues at reduced 2G speeds until the next 24-hour reset. For a smoother experience, monitor connected devices and pause background downloads when you do not need them. Check your phone’s settings for hotspot controls.
There is a 180-day pre-activation window for the France Unlimited eSIM, so you can buy and prepare your plan well ahead of departure. You do not need to wait until the last moment to arrange installation. Before your trip, check device compatibility, keep the QR code or installation instructions accessible, and follow the steps provided with your order. The product is designed to start when it links with a network that is supported upon arrival, so follow the specific activation instructions rather than assuming installation automatically begins the plan. Preparing in advance gives you time to resolve setup questions before you need mobile data in France.
